What happens when someone touches your motorcycle?

Most motorcycle thieves never start the engine. In France, a riders' mutual insurer puts lift-away theft at 90 to 95% of cases: the motorcycle is lifted and loaded into a van, in 2 minutes 30 on average. Here is what your GeoRide does in the meantime.

1. Your phone rings at the first knockThe device senses the vibration, the movement or the power cut, and sends the alert by itself, over the mobile network. You choose how you are warned: push notification, phone call (at night only, for example), email, or a Critical Alert on iPhone, which sounds at full volume even in Do Not Disturb.

Why not an AirTag, a basic GPS tracker or just a lock?

Because they do not answer the same question. A lock slows the thief down, and you should keep yours: secured to a fixed point, it prevents a quick lift-away theft. But against a cordless angle grinder, even an insurer-approved U-lock gives way in about 15 seconds per cut, and it warns nobody. Scooters and insurance: what changes

You choose a scooter GPS tracker the same way as a motorcycle GPS tracker, with one difference: the battery. With a 12 V battery, the GeoRide mini is fine. As for motorcycle insurance, a GPS tracker can lower the premium or the excess with some insurers, depending on your country. Nothing is automatic: ask yours.

Is there a commitment? How do I cancel?

No commitment. You own the device, the subscription is monthly and you cancel anytime, at no cost, with nothing to send back. You can also pause the subscription, which is handy for winter storage.

What does the €5/month subscription pay for?

What happens if my motorcycle is stolen?

You follow it in real time in the app, you report the theft and you give its position to the police. You never go and get it yourself. Is GeoRide compatible with my motorcycle or my scooter?

Yes: motorcycle, scooter, quad, car. The GeoRide mini takes 10 to 30 V and needs a battery on the vehicle. The GeoRide 3s takes 9 to 18 V and also works without a battery, with USB charging (cable sold separately). Fitting it has no impact on the manufacturer's warranty.

Will the tracker drain my motorcycle's battery?

No. A GeoRide has very low power consumption: it only sends positions when they are useful and goes to sleep when the motorcycle is parked. The motorcycle starts normally, even after a long time without riding.

What if the thief cuts the wires or goes down into underground parking?

Wires cut: you get a Power disconnected alert and the built-in backup battery takes over for hundreds of kilometres. The GeoRide 3s also warns you if the device itself is pulled off. Below ground, the GPS signal stops at the entrance: the GeoRide mini locates the motorcycle up to that point, and the GeoRide 3s guides your phone all the way to it with its Bluetooth radar detection, with or without network.

Does GeoRide work in my country and when I travel?
