GeoRide update: filter your motorcycle rides by date (2026)
The GeoRide app picks up three features riders have been asking for: a custom date range filter to pull up any ride from a specific day, customer support built right into the app, and a Maintenance mode you can schedule over several days. The update is already live on the App Store and Google Play, free, like every change we ship to the app.
The short version
- A custom date range filter pulls up your rides from a specific day, and it stacks with sorting by distance, duration or top speed.
- Customer support now lives inside the app: Profile menu, then Help and support, then Help and contact, with your whole conversation history.
- Maintenance mode can run for several days: Vibration and Movement alerts go quiet, location tracking stays on.
- The update is free, like every app and device update, for life.
How do you find a motorcycle ride from a specific date?
Open your rides, pick a custom date range, and the app shows exactly what you rode back then. That July road trip you could never track down again comes back in three taps.
The date filter stacks with the sorts you already have on distance, duration and top speed. Handy for isolating the longest leg of your holiday, then reliving it with the 3D ride replay or exporting it as a video for your socials.
"You'll be able to pull up your best road trips with zero hassle," says Thomas, GeoRide founder.
Customer support now answers inside the app
No need to leave the app to ask a question: head to the Profile menu, then Help and support, then Help and contact, and you're talking to the team. Thomas puts the response time at under five minutes.
All your past conversations stay in the same place. And if the team replies while you're out riding, a notification lets you know, so you never have to reopen the app just to check.
What is multi-day Maintenance mode for?
Maintenance mode mutes Vibration and Movement alerts while keeping location tracking on, and you can now set it for a long stretch, several days if you need. Perfect when your bike goes in for a service, spends the winter in the garage or sits at the dealer waiting on a part.
That way you skip the alerts fired off every time the mechanic moves the bike around, a real relief once you know how vibration sensors react to the slightest contact. Meanwhile your GPS tracker keeps watch: you always know where the bike is.
What GeoRide adds here
These three features come straight from what riders asked for, carrying on from the new app launched in July and the GPS and network update from the spring. That's the whole idea behind the GeoRide GPS tracker: the device installs in 5 minutes on your bike, then the service keeps growing month after month, at no extra cost.
"So many of you asked for it, so it's live right now in the GeoRide app," says Thomas, GeoRide founder.
What comes next is built the same way: the team is already working on more features, and your ideas are welcome, in the comments under the video or now straight in the app chat.
FAQ
Does the August 2026 GeoRide update cost anything?
No, it's free, like every app and device update, included for life with your subscription. Just update the GeoRide app from the App Store or Google Play.
How do you contact GeoRide customer support from the app?
Go to the Profile menu, then Help and support, then Help and contact: you're chatting straight with the team. Your conversations are kept, and a notification tells you when a reply lands, even if the app is closed.
Does Maintenance mode switch off motorcycle location tracking?
No, tracking stays on the whole time Maintenance mode is running. Only Vibration and Movement alerts are paused, over the period you choose, several days if you need.
Can you sort your rides by anything other than date?
Yes, the date range filter combines with sorting by distance, duration or top speed. You can show only the rides from one weekend, for example, then rank them longest to shortest.
