The app's biggest leap forward since its creation: fully redesigned, more beautiful and simpler to use.

TOULOUSE, FRANCE. GeoRide today announced the launch of its new app, available on the App Store and Google Play, and unveiled Motonaut, its AI assistant entirely dedicated to motorcycling. This major update, the app's biggest leap forward since its creation, opens the new GeoRide era and redefines what a motorcycle app can offer.

The team worked behind the scenes for months and started again from scratch, with one mantra: an app that is more beautiful and simpler to use. The map is now a permanent part of the experience and evolves with how you use it: follow your motorcycle live, take in all your rides at a glance, or relive your latest one. A new ride-sharing system lets you publish your rides on social media, in map or photo mode. Navigation never goes deeper than three sub-menus, and every new screen comes with a step-by-step introduction.

With Motonaut, GeoRide puts a motorcycle expert at every rider's disposal, 24/7. Motonaut answers questions on every topic: riding, gear, maintenance, buying, insurance. Above all, it adapts to the exact year of each motorcycle, where manufacturer recommendations change from one year to the next: for a 2025 Yamaha MT-07, it loads the manual's 136 pages in a fraction of a second, gives the exact tyre pressure and guides you through an oil change step by step. Motonaut is free, available to everyone and built into the new app, including for riders who are not yet GeoRide users.

"We worked behind the scenes for months to redefine what a motorcycle app can offer," said Thomas Chambon, GeoRide founder. "Since day one, we have bet everything on the app. With this new version and with Motonaut, GeoRide no longer just protects your motorcycle: we accompany you through your whole life as a rider. The new GeoRide era starts today, and we are only getting started."

"We started again from scratch, with one simple requirement: every screen must be beautiful and immediately understandable," said Maxime Foucher, Principal Engineer. "It is the most ambitious project the team has ever carried out on the app. This new foundation also changes the way we build: updates will now be much more frequent."

"Motonaut changes a rider's everyday life," said Antoine Tanguy Piquet, Product Manager and Marketing Strategist. "The right pressure for your motorcycle and your model year, the right oil for your oil change, advice on gear: precise, immediate answers, all in one place. It is what we all wish we had had when we started riding."

This launch is part of the educational mission GeoRide has pursued since launching its motorcycle media channel in March: more than 30 million cumulative views and the ambition to become France's leading educational motorcycle media. Educating riders, supporting them day to day and protecting their motorcycles now come together in a single app.
