Are connected screens a danger for riders?

They become one as soon as they demand your eyes or your hands while you are riding. On a motorcycle, every glance at a screen is a glance taken off the road, and dangerous situations play out in a fraction of a second: a car pulling out, a patch of gravel, someone braking hard in front of you. A head-up display has a genuine advantage: it removes the back-and-forth between road and handlebars. But it is no magic wand: an overloaded interface in your field of vision becomes a nuisance in its own right.
