Live Wheel: your motorcycle tire pressure in real time (2026)
The Live Wheel is GeoRide's own smart tire pressure and temperature sensor. It sells for €89 a pair, screws on in place of your valve caps front and rear, and shows what your tires are doing in real time in the GeoRide app. Instant alert if you get a flat or your pressure drops too low, anti-theft nut in the box, and one requirement: a GeoRide 3s on the bike.
In short
- Two sensors supplied, front and rear, screwed on in two minutes in place of your valve caps, anti-theft nut included.
- Real-time tire pressure and temperature in the GeoRide app, with an instant alert if you get a flat or drop below the recommended pressure.
- €89 a pair, works with the GeoRide 3s only.
So what exactly is the Live Wheel?
It's a smart tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS): two pressure and temperature sensors that replace your bike's valve caps and send their readings straight to the GeoRide app. No extra box to stick somewhere, no dedicated screen to keep charged: the front wheel and the rear wheel simply show up in the app with live numbers.
Fitting takes two minutes: unscrew the valve caps, screw the sensors on in their place, done. Each sensor is locked down by the anti-theft nut supplied, and the GeoRide logo comes off if you'd rather keep things low-key.
What do you get out of seeing your tires in real time?
You always ride at the right pressure, without digging out a gauge or hunting down an air pump at a fuel station. Pressure is the setting everyone knows about and almost nobody checks often enough: with the Live Wheel it sits right in front of you on every ride, front tire and rear alike. If pressure slips below the recommended level, or if you get a flat, the alert goes out instantly.
Temperature opens up something else, more on the fun side: knowing when the rubber is ready. In the video, Thomas even talks about "getting a notification when your tires are at the right temperature to push on". To go further, our guide explains how to keep an eye on your motorcycle tire pressure, and why the setting changes once your bike is loaded up for a road trip.
"It costs eighty-nine euros and, trust me, you'll end up wondering how you ever managed without it." Thomas, GeoRide founder
Which GeoRide does the Live Wheel work with?
The Live Wheel needs a GeoRide 3s: it isn't compatible with the GeoRide mini, nor with the GeoRide 3. The newest GPS tracker in the range is what bridges the sensors and the app. It joins the Live range, the smart accessories introduced in the big GeoRide announcements:
| Accessory | What it does | Price | Compatibility |
|---|---|---|---|
| Live Wheel | Real-time tire pressure and temperature | €89 a pair | GeoRide 3s only |
| Live Alarm | Patented 110 dB alarm, remote activation | €69 | GeoRide 3 and 3s |
| Live Detect | Detects when your garage or storage unit opens | €59 | GeoRide 3s only |

What GeoRide brings to the table here
The Live Wheel rounds out what the GeoRide 3s GPS tracker already does: protecting your motorcycle from theft, recording your rides, putting your loved ones' minds at rest. With it, the GeoRide app becomes the dashboard for your tires too, right next to battery voltage and maintenance reminders, pressure now included. One device, one app, one more piece of data working for you: that's exactly the thinking behind the Live range, accessories that latch onto the GPS tracker already fitted, with no extra wiring.
FAQ
Do you need a GeoRide to use the Live Wheel?
Yes, the Live Wheel needs a GeoRide 3s fitted to the motorcycle. It isn't compatible with the GeoRide mini, nor with the GeoRide 3: the 3s device is what passes the sensor readings on to the app.
How much does the Live Wheel cost?
The Live Wheel costs €89 a pair, with both sensors supplied for the front and the rear wheel. The anti-theft nut is included.
Do you need any special tools to fit it?
No, the sensors screw on in two minutes in place of the valve caps. The anti-theft nut supplied locks them onto the valve, and the GeoRide logo comes off if you'd rather stay discreet.
What happens if you get a flat?
The GeoRide app sends an instant alert as soon as pressure drops or falls below the recommended level. Each wheel has its own sensor, so the front tire and the rear tire are both watched at all times.
