On April 1st, a user alerted us that his magnificent Kawasaki H2 had been stolen during the night. It wasn't an April Fool's joke. We were able to support him in all his dealings with the police.
Our objective ? Provide all the necessary information and help him in this moment that we know is stressful. GeoRide presents itself as a motorcycle alarm on a smartphone . This is an application connected to a box connected to your motorcycle. This application is available on the usual download platforms (Apple Store and Play store), and is completely free. It has been designed to offer a complete service based on the needs of the motorcyclist: locating themselves, reassuring their loved ones, and being reassured. It therefore offers three main functionalities meeting these needs: GPS tracker, fall detector and connected anti-theft alarm. Installing the motorcycle alarm can be done in just a few minutes; the guide delivered with it ensures you don't make any mistakes when making connections.
A motorcycle alarm that monitors your vehicle
GeoRide wanted to develop a motorcycle alarm with the aim of reassuring all motorcyclists when they park their motorcycle in the street, in a public parking lot or elsewhere. Motorcycle thefts are quite common, especially during the summer period, and mostly at night when you are sleeping. In 2017, it is estimated that up to 109,000 motorcycle and scooter vehicles were stolen. Statistics show that ¾ of the time the theft takes place very close to your home, and half the time it takes place on the street.
A little more than half of the motorcycles are found a few days after the theft, mainly when they are equipped with a GPS tracker which indicates the position of the vehicle in real time.
Equipping yourself with a connected motorcycle alarm for your smartphone is not superfluous, far from it. Although it does not prevent theft in most cases, it nevertheless helps the police find the stolen item as quickly as possible. Equipped with a GPS chip and a powerful siren, the motorcycle phone alarm will allow you to identify your motorcycle even if it is hidden in a garage or truck.
Insurance companies can offer you a reduction on the cost of your contract if you have an alarm for two wheels . Take the time to contact different insurers in order to choose the one who will offer you the most advantageous and suitable offer.
Many insurance companies will recommend an SRA motorcycle alarm to secure your vehicle. However, an SRA motorcycle alarm is not essential to protect it effectively. In fact, the “SRA” is an approval, but this in no way guarantees that your vehicle will not be stolen.

By combining the GPS tracker with the connected alarm, this is how we were able to offer you a functional, responsive and precise functionality. The motorcycle alarm system works in this way: the motorcycle alarm is self-powered and connected to the motorcycle is able to geolocate your motorcycle, and detect if someone touches it or moves it while it is in an area locked.
It then sends the information to the application on your smartphone which communicates it to you via the notification of your choice (call or push notification). From there, you can either go out and check that your motorcycle is there and that it was a false alarm, or you can see that there really is an attempted theft and you can immediately call the police .
Lockout zones are places where you usually park your motorcycle, such as your home, workplace, bar or supermarket.
Your anti bike jacking motorcycle alarm application will lock these zones once you have entered one of them, and activate the vibration and movement detector of the box connected to your motorcycle. It also informs you of the disconnection of the power supply to the box, which will nevertheless continue to operate thanks to the autonomy of its internal battery.
The wireless motorcycle alarm is completely independent of the application. Even if it is not launched on your phone, you will still receive the notification warning you of a possible theft attempt.
